General footnote:  There is NO industry standard/control over non-CIP/SAAMI drawings, e.g., drawings with the SAME cartridge name may have DIFFERENT dimensions. Additionally, even for the same “cartridge case” dimensions, the throat dimensions may vary between chamber reamer drawings. Project-specific chamber/chamber reamer drawings are your best source of dimensions. Proceed with caution!

CH4D cartridge (caliber) list – use the shell holder # search to find wildcats and variants that MAY fit the same bolt face.

(1) Per Lapua’s website, the 338 LM’s muzzle energy is 4821 (max factory load).
(2) Chamber reamer drawings courtesy of Mr. Dave Kiff, Pacific Tool and Gauge.
(3) Additional drawings (courtesy of Dave at CH Tool & Die) – see cautionary “General footnote”, above.
(4) Provided courtesy of Mr. Jimmie Sloan, the developer of the 338 Norma Magnum.
(5) Drawings contributed by PAC-NOR. NOTE that some cartridges may have the same or virtually the same name, and be from the same reamer company, but the dims may be different enough to present VERY SERIOUS problems if they are assumed interchangeable, e.g., 375/50. Proceed with caution!!!
(6) Chamber reamer and case drawings courtesy of the designer, John Lazzeroni, Lazzeroni Arms
(7) Association of Spanish Cartridge Collectors (AECC) – English language option (upper right). Database here – click the Category drop down and select Central Fire/CF, then enter your search term in the Caliber Finder field and tap the question icon.  NOTE: their search engine is terrible! Try searching on the basic caliber, e.g., .416, to get a list to choose from.  A couple of my entries are from the old Spanish language site because some cartridges have not been migrated over to the new site.  Be patient!
(8) Chamber reamer drawing courtesy of the designer, Keary Ritchie, Vigilance Rifles.
(9) At some point in October 2020, CIP removed both the 375 and 408 CT drawings from their website. I’m advised that it was “in an overabundance of caution” following claims (unsupported as best I can tell at this point – 11/17/2020) about malfunction and rifle damage “because of” failure of ammunition manufacturers to meet the manufacture’s (CheyTac’s) specs…specs which, per CheyTac, did not match what CIP had been posting since 2016-17. Peterson, as the claimed world’s-largest supplier of brass for these chamberings, was blindsided by the CIP drawing removals and, in response, produced and posted Peterson (effective) re-draws of the official, previously-CIP-posted drawings. See the links in the listing above. I have attempted to directly contact CIP by the only communications mechanism I can find, the Contact page on their website.  My most recent attempt was April 9, 2021. On Jan 13, 2022 I added back the now-present “official” CIP drawing links.

(11) 50 DTC Europ (Danis) and 510 DTC Europ reamer dimensions are identical, therefore a simple naming disparity.
